Peer pressure, celebrity culture and consumerism take our attention and focus, showing us how we aren’t “good enough. To stop the deep feeling of discomfort it is easier we turn to the TV, shopping, alcohol, food and substances to make us feel better briefly.
Even though talk therapies and self-help guidance is so readily available the situation still feels desperate.
Low self-esteem, anxiety issues and low confidence are at epidemic proportions and many modalities focus on offering “quick fix tools and techniques” to get away from the pain rather than learning how to be with it and make it a beneficial part of the human experience. In fact, not just beneficial, essential for our growth.
However, there is hope. Self-responsibility, emotional intelligence and being educated has never been more important and easier to undertake.
The stigma has been removed from self-development and, becoming “woke” or “conscious” and sharing our experiences are now not just normalised but celebrated. There have never been more tools available to break free of our conditioning and learn how to live in our full and empowered potential.
But that takes emotional intelligence coaches to support people on their journey.
People who want to be “part of the change”, to help others unpick their conditioning and find their authentic joy.
“This has been the best experience of my life because it was what I needed. It is the deepest personal development work I have immersed myself in and I am truly grateful for how I alive I feel now, how much power I have that is yet to unfold and how much love is in me.” Stella
